Meet Dr. Ingrid Roman

Dr. Ingrid Roman, Psy.D., is a bilingual clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience. She earned her Doctor of Psychology degree with a concentration in Child Psychology from an APA-accredited program in 2009. In addition, Dr. Roman holds a Master of Science in Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University. Further expanding her clinical scope, she completed a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program, strengthening her ability to support children with complex developmental and communication needs. Her early clinical training at Miami Children’s Hospital, within the Departments of Psychiatry, Neuropsychology, and Behavioral Medicine shaped her multidisciplinary and developmentally attuned approach to care. Dr. Roman has devoted her career to delivering evidence-based, compassionate services across the lifespan. She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Developmental Applied Behavior Solutions, Inc., an ABA clinic she established in 2017 to support children and adolescents with developmental and neurological conditions. Since 2013, she has also led her private practice, Ingrid Roman Psy.D., P.A., where she provides psychological and behavioral services to children, adults, and families.

Her expertise includes psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological assessments, with extensive training in a wide range of standardized tools. Dr. Roman also serves as the founder and president of Timeless Buddies, Inc., a nonprofit promoting mental wellness through intergenerational connection. At MindScope Research, she serves as both founder and clinical rater, where she is responsible for the administration of standardized cognitive and behavioral assessments within clinical trial protocols. Her role ensures adherence to research standards and supports the accurate collection of data related to treatment outcomes. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Roman is committed to delivering culturally responsive, participant-focused approach across all settings in which she serves.
